today is a moody day. i have no idea why? just really really tired...after watching too much tv i guess......funny how you think you've catched up on all the lost sleep after one off day, and you wake up the next day feling even more tired than before...it didn't help much that my tv programs last from 7.30pm to 1 am last nite!!! so, i got up today, feeling even more tired than before...sighz... anyway, today, was rushing myself through work....coz i had to leave by 5 in order to reach tampines in time for mass...it's All Saints' Day tomorrow...but darling has duty, so we have to go for mass today. then after that we went to darling's place coz it's his brother's birthday today...bought the strawberry shortcake for him for his birthday...it's not too bad..hehe. glad they all liked it. hmmz....will be going to cordelia's place tmr to pass her her birthday present......don't really know what to get her, so probably gonna conjure up some stuff from Canele...coz food is always good for health! especially sweet stuff!! hahaha....... sighz...then after that, me will be meeting my age-old friend, russell for dinner........usually on days when darling does duty, it's my day to meet friends...coz don't really like to do that on normal days as i wanna spend more time with him...quite selfish..i know...but time with darling is really so rare coz we got so many other commitments. hope i get to sleep early tomorrow coz i'm really so tired...and tonight will probably try to get up to watch liverpool vs bordeaux.....then after that go exercise with darling........then go work...i really need to get in shape...so must start working out!!! okay lah...need to go spend more time with darling coz i won't see him for one a half days from tmr!!! btw...we got holy innocents for camp!! yay!!!

Today was a wonderful day....I love sundays....especially if i've already attended mass. Spent the whole day just lazing in bed with my darling, catching up on all my sleep debts...so so wonderful... simply love quality time with my darling....think we lazed until almost 3 plus before we started getting ready to go meet angela and ian for meeting
discussed quite a bit of stuff...did a lot of planning..it was quite a fruitful meeting... =) tmr angela's gonna confirm our camp venue....really hope that we get holy innocent's......much as SAC is convenient and all, but hihs really has a far bigger space, and is also more conducive for all my spiritual programmes......
anyway, don't think i mentioned that I'm gonna be graduating from SHATEC on 6th november...yup..like FINALLY...i finished my course in january, and am graduating only now!! But yeah, it's gonna be at conrad, and well, i got the gold award, which is awarded to the top student of their cohort...gonna get a $250 cash voucher, and also a chance to study the Diploma in Hotel Management...sighz..it's funny...all the time when i was in SHATEC, i was working for this award, so that i could further my studies, and upgrade myself...now that i've gotten it, i'm actually gonna take a very big change in my career....but to say the truth, the fact that I'm gonna get married next year, means that i can't afford to not work for 3 years whilst i'm studying..so actually, it don't work out either....
hmm......tmr's monday...much as i hate having to go back to work, tmr's my TV day..haha...i love monday's coz there's so many shows for me to watch, So You Think You Can Dance, Dr. House, Nip/Tuck, and Ultimate Fighting Championship.....then on Tues, it's The Pledge...speaking of which, it's a damn cool thing...they got like 15 ordinary pple to pledge to "change" their lives in 6 months, during which, they'll train for the most gruelling triathlon in Asia, held in Phuket, in a bid to revive what Phuket once was before the tsunami..it's really really cool...then darling, myself, winson and angela all signed up for the event...haha..coz they are casting for the next series, and we just wanted to try and see if they'll pick us!!
oh ya...did i tell u that my nephew is like born already? it's so fast..he's turning one year in about two weeks...his name is ethan..i think my bro got the idea from Mission Impossible....he's so so so adorable...will leave a pic for u to see.... this photo was taken in may...not very updated...but u can just tell how handsome he's gonna be in future....sighz....just love him so much...just wish i had more time to spend with him....dear little ethan..... =)
okie then...got to go discuss more legion stuff with my darling, as well as put my bedsheet cover back on....so yup.....talk again soon..

I'm feeling quite blue today....not sure why....had quite a "fruitless" day at work....spent the whole day doing god knows what....just wasting my time, trying to find things to do. According to Darling, that's good, coz i'm earning money whilst doing nothing! sighz...only problem is..there's so many other things I could've done in that same amount of time!!
oh well...anyway, we went down to St. Anne's today as i mentioned....goodness...the chinese community there is so strong....I see so much potential.....there are so many children...and i'm so sure that if we do get the presadium up and going once more, the things that could be done will be endless!! but then again..the things that have to be done are endless.....creating awareness of the legion, promoting it, recruitment, meetings and so much more....darling and myself looked at our calendar, and our entire november weekends are ALL BURNT!!!! there's just so so much to do! Thought we both could have a Sunday alone together, but now, sighz...we've got to meet up with Angela and Ian to discuss more stuff......
oh man....so so much to do.....the tasks seem endless.....so much to plan...but i guess it's a resposibility we chose to take up, and one we will have to do well....
eugene just finished designing the camp t-shirt...it rocks man.......super nice...think i'll make extra of this year's camp shirt so i can wear it more often..hahahha.....can't wait for camp to start even though there's so much more to be done!!
hmm hmm...darling's watching liverpool vs aston villa now...we're up by 3-0....so so happy..this starting line-up is good...hope benitez now gives peter crouch more chance to play.....and i just hope he'll stop changing his line-up... =)

October 27th, 2006I feel like this colour today. Haha..I have no idea why. anyway, it's Cordelia's birthday party today. I feel so bad that I couldn't go. Sighz....I guess I really just drifted far far apart from all my friends, whether it's from secondary school or JC...maybe it's coz of darling...but maybe I just...don't really click anymore? You know, it's funny actually...going into SHATEC may not have been the most logical thing to do, but in doing so, not only did I manage to learn the tricks of the trade, albeit the most basic ones...but I have also managed to see this whole other side of the "world" that I would not have seen, had i gone the route that most others have. Most of my fellow colleagues have either relatively low if not no education, and most of them are Malaysians. And I guess that in a way, I learn to see the more "rough" side of the society as well....not that they don't do very well and all....but in doing so, I've also lost touch with most of my friends....In a way, I guess, that in coming to this job, I really figured out what I really really want in life too...so it's not that bad either. Anyway, today, there were two filming shots done at Canele....Daniel Ong came, and so did Michelle Chia...oh man, she's like so hot, and she looks really good in person...however, up close, you can tell that she's quite....haggard, like tired looking...can't be helped i guess, with all the long hours and all.....Went to Darling's house for dinner today....brought his little Weiwei down for a walk...during that time, discussed Legion's future...it may seem bleak, but I guess we all have to work hard at recruitment next year, and try to get more new blood in.....this camp, hopefully it'll be a success too, so that we can revive what we already have.....and during the whole time from now till end 2007, it's time to train leaders so that we'll always have people to do stuff....sighz..tmr's Saturday..should be happy that the weekend is here...but tmr, Angela, Darling and myself have to go down to St. Anne's church at about 6...got to talk to their catechism coordinators regarding doing recruitment for Legion during their classes.....then attend mass as well..so that at least Sunday, we can sleep in...but, not to digress..The presadium at St. Anne's is almost doomed for failure..so...ya, we're stepping in, try to recruit new members, then, if we succeed, which i believe we will, then we'll wait till they are stable b4 leaving.....hope everything goes well.....So many things to pray for....I wonder if God ever gets tired listening...=) haha...He must lvoe us so much....anyway, the location for Jing Xiu Ying is yet to be confirmed..really hoping we get Holy Innocent's coz it's cheaper, and it's a much bigger space for us to use....can only pray hard..... Sent out the email for consent forms, but it seems that so many of our Tuan Zhangs don't even have their email add, let alone the passwords...so disappointing....but...sighz.....it only means that the 4 of us have now to work harder!!!Oh well....gonna go take my bath now, then go keep my Darling company...he just ran 5 km today..think he's crazy...never understand how he runs for so long..i absolutely detest running...but would have exercised if I didn't have so much phelgm in my throat......so yup....shall update again....tmr....till then..

After an eternity, I'm finally back!! (pun not intended!)
It's been a year or so since my last post. A lot of things have happened since then, and seriously, it actually don't seem that long. Ultimately, I believe I stopped blogging coz Darling actually was a regular in the Air Force Logistics already. As he's always around when I'm at home, I thus rarely had the chance to actually update coz I'll always take very long to get all my thoughts down. And I don't like him to have to wait for me coz I needed and wanted to spend time with him, so, I just stopped. Also, I got busier...but now, well, certain changes have happened, and i'm slightly more free..shall see if i can start writing again!!
In short, I shall update my life. I finished my attachment with the remaining months at Canele Patisserie and Chocolaterie...too bad I wasn't blogging then or I could have uploaded the photos. It's a really nice place, very high-class...and they have super good stuff....located at Roberson Walk, where double O bar is.....so if you have the chance, do drop by! Anyway, ya, then I went on to work full time at Sebastiens from Feb this year until September. A lot of things happened whilst I was there, in terms of work, and through the long hours, and the fact that I'm now back in the Legion of Mary, I realised that in the long term, my priorities lies with Church and my family (inclusive of Darling), and hence, this job will not work out. I searched for another outlet, and then I applied for NIE , and am now accepted. I should most likely be entering NIE next year to take a Diploma In Physical Education for 2 years, after which I will be teach PE in primary schools. Yep, i know, it's like....extreme...but i had my reasons. Right now, I'm working part-time back in Canele, until the year ends....
So yup...many many changes.........
Darling and me returned to Legion because of many funny reasons.......but yup, now he's President of the Junior Mandarin speaking Legion of Mary Curia, Singapore, and I am his treasurer. So we have a heavy burden to not only sustain what's been left over for us, but also to improve its current situation and to revive everything that has been lost. In the process, we're like bombarded with meetings day after day, week in week out. But, we don't really really mind.
We celebrated both our 21st birthdays. Mine was huge coz of my dad's friends, so many came...darling's was small and cozy.......Darling has also proposed, and yup, our wedding date is now set for 22nd December 2007. =) We have just hired our wedding planner, from Wedding Acts, coz we have absolutely no time to really do our sourcing, much as we wanted to previously.
so yup....i've still got to work tmr....will stop here for now.....write again soon...
