been slightly over 10 days since i last wrote....

am totally bogged down with work right now....there's just so much to do......

sorry for not updating the Legion blog yet too.......there just don't seem enough time for me to do all that I want or need to do.....it's supposed to be my one week break right now, but it sure don't feel like it's a break at all....am cramming ALL that I need to do in this week and can only hope and pray that I get it done in time.......assignments to rush....recruitment camp to plan......officers' training camp to plan and prepare for too......sighz.........the latter is the one that's taking up most of my time...in a way coz we really want it to impact our participants and ourselves...so all of us are trying to give it our 150% in the preparation days to make sure that all goes well by the time the camp comes......

humph...i need to breathe...this semester feels so breathless for me.....time is flying by so fast....i can't believe i've already completed 8 weeks of semester 2.....it feels almost scary.....

am finally back home...and enjoying it........simply loving life back in where i used to be.....darling and me are doing so much more housework these days to help my mum out....and it just makes me feel happy when i see him put so much effort into doing housework...coz it just assures me that he'll definitely help out around the house in future! =)

haha......we're exercising almost everyday now too.......mostly for the camp(*hint hint* campers.....).....but also coz we both really want to lose the extra weight gained in the last 2 months..........am enjoying it though...coz i'm feeling good about myself.... =D

had a wonderful weekend...celebrating the birthday of someone who's close to my heart....if u're reading this...i won't mention names for fear of complication on your side.....but i or rather all of us are just simply glad to welcome you back into our family once more....it feels good for all of us to be going out together again....and i simply enjoy the company we all share.... *hugs*

can't wait for darling and me to have our little getaway soon...am planning to go to krabi in May...will decide this weekend after we visit the NATAS fair.......

okay...it's back to work...don't think will be sleeping early tonight...since darling's on duty...have to rush all my work out!!! =)




I think this year's Valentine is one of the most simple ones that Darling and myself have celebrated......

I didn't have much time to do anything elaborate for him coz of the many things to do and the constant shuffling between the two homes.....

He really shocked me a week ago when he suddenly messaged me to tell me that he had already gotten my gift......haha...he'd purchased an Air Force bear for me.....a limited edition one...apparently there's only 999 in existence!! haha.....i only wonder how much it cost....it's quite cute actually and it's dressed in full pilot gear....

spent the rest of the days after that wondering and pondering what to get him...finally decided to do what i do best.....bake...rushed to make him a cake yesterday.......surprisingly he ate 60% of it....it's quite big actually....haha....poor child....he must have been so sick of the cake.... shall load a pic of the cake soon...

hmmm....really lots to do as the days go by....now we're trying to settle back into my home...buying furniture, packing and all....i still hope and wish for us to be able to purchase our own place soon..then we can have our own personal space....but it's all in God's time, I know...for he has his plans and his reasons for us!

back to work after a wonderful evening with darling..........lots of Legion meetings coming up and due assignments too!!!!










Just watched the movie on Saturday with Darling, Angela and Russell...

Think it's a damn fantastic movie....been so long since I watched a movie with so much Literature aspects....much as I love it, will suggest that only those who know how to appreciate musicals to watch it....coz there's really no aspect of speech in it......but lots and lots of singing...thus, u have to pay a lot of attention to the imagery, the rhyming of the words, the meaning of the song and the words to the actions done by the actors.....and also the expressions and clothes of the actors....if you're unable to do that, the movie would not seem as powerful as it was meant to be....

Johnny Depp really proved to be a master of his art.....and so is Tim Burton...think all of them worked really well together to produce this piece of work...and I really think it is fantastic......helps that I watched it with Russell, who's another Lit freak like me!

My wedding photos are really out this time...in hard copy... so it's true exhibition time..... dunno why but I can't stop looking at them....maybe coz I wanna relive the memories of that fateful and memorable day? It's like I can't get enough of the photos....haha.....which is why I don't understand why those already married can tell me that they keep their wedding albums in the storeroom after the whole event is over and done with...... to me, I guess it's the one day I'll ever look that good...and it's the time when everything is all blissful and sweet..and you are truly the stars of the day....how else can you decide to just put everything away?? *shrugs*

Anyway....CNY has been truly busy for me....been helping Darling's grandma with all the cooking for the last couple of days....and when she cooks, it's really a feast.....so...there was a lot of washing up to do! Been super tired.....but today's a good rest day.... =)

Been getting along really well with Darling's family.....especially over this festive period...maybe coz I've been helping out so much lately....that they are kinda taken aback? =)

Hmmm..many many good movies out there.....and will probably watch them all byend of next week.....here are MY movie reviews... hehe..

Gone Baby Gone
Not that bad a show (as what Angela said).....story is quite intriguing, and intense....but coz I had watched based on the stupid writer's review from New Paper...I was misled to think the movie was about something else at first.......but if I had gone with no pre-misconception, I think I would have loved the movie more.......makes u think about a lot of stuff.....just kinda think the ending was a little anti-climax....for a first directorial debut? I think it's quite good already... =)

haha....local productions ought to be supported.....watched it with Darling's family yesterday..... though it seems dumb and lame...but it does bring out a good laugh...seriously? I wouldn't mind watching it again......Jack Neo brings out his themes about the government once more.... Mark Lee's acting is FANTASTIC...really...can't help but remind me of Nigel?? Hehe..... do go catch it if u have the chance.

Gonna be watching Sweeney Todd with Russell and Angela tonight...maybe will watch PS I Love You with them too....

Sigh... V Day is in 5 days.....darling has gotten me my present but i'm still at a lost for what to do!!! This is a first man!! I better start thinking!!!! Kinda sucks that school is gonna be starting again.......much much work to complete......and of course, all the Legion stuff is waiting for me..... Holiday season "over"......it's time to get back to work!!
