Well......a rainy busy day today.......but I enjoyed myself with Darling lots and lots.....hee...Anywayz...we went to collect our "newly" issued baptism certs today.....I really really wonder if all the pple who end up volunteering as secretariats in churches are all so grumpy and grouchy....sighz......got screamed at quite a few times in the process of trying to get my certs done....*rolls eyes*...oh well...it's just sad...coz they're the ones that handle all enquiries to the church..and....they are working for a church?? *shrugs* I really don't understand....but anyway, that's beside the point......We went to OLPS and St. Stephen's Church...and man...the latter looks SO BEAUTIFUL now that it is renovated!! If i hadn't already booked holy trinity, I would so book this church...coz it holds so many memories for me....and it looks so wonderful and nice.....the way I like a church to be...peaceful, simple and well......calm and tranquil........ =)So...right after that, went down to Orchard to get our rings done......am quite excited, coz I think it'll come out really nice....we'll be collecting it only in mid-October though....and well, ended up going over our budget for the rings....they came up to $2k in total for a pair.......the guy originally quoted $2800...but we hemmed and hawed for a little while, and he reduced it for us.....though it's a bit ex...but based on the design we want, i know that a similar design outside would cost us both abt $3k ++......so...I guess it like works out? After all, it's handcrafted, and the guy making it is also a catholic...so.......we kinda feel safer working with him....Went to pay for our wedding cake also......so...I guess we've pretty much got most of the stuff done.....just have to get our photos taken, invitations printed, wedding favours ready, confirm the decor and caterer for the church....and I think they should all be fine?? =D The date's getting nearer........we're only 127 days away from the wedding!!!!!Had a wonderful evening with darling, just enjoying each other's presence....love spending quiet moments with him for it further reiterates the reason why we're getting married.....I love you baby...
