Just watched the movie on Saturday with Darling, Angela and Russell...Think it's a damn fantastic movie....been so long since I watched a movie with so much Literature aspects....much as I love it, will suggest that only those who know how to appreciate musicals to watch it....coz there's really no aspect of speech in it......but lots and lots of singing...thus, u have to pay a lot of attention to the imagery, the rhyming of the words, the meaning of the song and the words to the actions done by the actors.....and also the expressions and clothes of the actors....if you're unable to do that, the movie would not seem as powerful as it was meant to be....Johnny Depp really proved to be a master of his art.....and so is Tim Burton...think all of them worked really well together to produce this piece of work...and I really think it is fantastic......helps that I watched it with Russell, who's another Lit freak like me!
